Just about every incredible digital photo and special effect you’ve seen in magazines and advertising has been produced with the help of Adobe Photoshop. Photoshop is used by millions of professional and amateur photographers, graphic designers, illustrators, and commercial artists. It is found in studios, research facilities, hospitals and doctors’ offices, crime labs, schools and universities, advertising offices, and Hollywood film studios, and it is used in countless ways by millions of people worldwide.

In this project, we’ll take a look at the power of Photoshop and then explore a lower-cost, more user-friendly alternative, Adobe Photoshop Elements. Then, for the balance of the project, we’ll take Elements for a test drive.
